Med fokus p\u00e5 utdanning og forskning<\/p>\n

Regjeringen Solberg er opptatt av kunnskap som \u201cden nye oljen\u201d for Norge. Fokus er p\u00e5 universitets- og h\u00f8yskolesektoren som n\u00f8kkelen til kunnskapssamfunnet. I januar presenterte kunnskapsminister Torbj\u00f8rn R\u00f8e Isaksen 7 punkter for hvordan regjeringen vil g\u00e5 fram i sin utredning. Universitets- og h\u00f8yskolesektoren vil f\u00e5 b\u00e5de finansiering og struktur gjennomg\u00e5tt, og handlingsplanen vil bli framlagt som en Stortingsmelding i 2015. Regjeringen skal se p\u00e5 hvordan endring av finansiering kan styrke b\u00e5de utdanning og forskning, men har ogs\u00e5 fokus p\u00e5 hvordan vitenskapelig ansatte ivaretas. Sentrale punkter som ble p\u00e5pekt var behovet for \u00e5 utvikle en strategi for \u00e5 motivere forskere til \u00e5 s\u00f8ke EU finansiering. Dessuten skal regjeringen se p\u00e5 rekruttering, stillingsstruktur og karriereutvikling i v\u00e5r sektor. Det er flott at vi har f\u00e5tt lyskasteren p\u00e5 oss!<\/p>\n

With focus on education and research<\/p>\n

The Solberg government is referring to knowledge as \u201cthe new oil\u201d for Norway.\u00a0Focus is on the university and college sector as the key to the knowledge society.\u00a0 In January, the Minister of Education and Research, Torbj\u00f8rn R\u00f8e Isaksen, presented 7 main points for how the government will proceed in its examination of the issue. The University and college sector will have both its funding and structure reviewed, and a course of action will be presented in a Government report in 2015.\u00a0 The government will also consider how changes in funding may strengthen both education and research, while also focusing on how scientific employees are looked after.\u00a0 A central point that was highlighted was the need for developing a strategy in order to motivate researchers to apply for EU funding.\u00a0 In addition, the government will look at recruitment, employment structure and career development.\u00a0 It is great that we have these floodlights shining upon us!<\/p>\n
