Dette er en viktig mulighet for studenter og ansatte til \u00e5 p\u00e5virke beslutninger som former v\u00e5rt akademiske milj\u00f8.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f8rst ut er rektorvalget (<strong>24.-27. mars 2025)<\/strong>. Det 2 rektorkandidater med hvert sitt team som stiller til valg: n\u00e5v\u00e6rende rektor Margreth Hagen med et nytt team best\u00e5ende av prorektor Sigrunn Eliassen, Kjell-Morten Myr (viserektor for forskning, innovasjon og infrastruktur) og Kristoffer Chelsom Vogt (viserektor for forskning og internasjonalisering); og Lise \u00d8vre\u00e5s som stiller til valg med prorektorkandidat Endre Tvinnereim, Marit \u00d8ilo (viserektor for utdanning), Anne K. Bang (viserektor for internasjonalisering) og Karsten Specht (viserektor for innovasjon og infrastruktur).<\/p>\n<p>Neste blir valg av nye medlemmer til universitetsstyret (valgperioden er 2.-7. mai 2025). Her skal det velges<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>to medlemmer og minst 2 varamedlemmer av og blant gruppe A (fast ansatte i vitenskapelig stilling)<\/li>\n<li>ett medlem og minst 2 varamedlemmer av og blant gruppe B (midlertidig ansatte i vitenskapelig stilling)<\/li>\n<li>ett medlem og minst 2 varamedlemmer av og blant gruppe C (teknisk og administrativt ansatte).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hvordan fremme forslag til medlemmer til universitetsstyret<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forslaget m\u00e5 v\u00e6re underskrevet av minst samme antall forslagsstillere som det antall kandidater forslaget inneholder (gruppe A, B og C utgj\u00f8r hver sin valgkrets). Ingen kan skrive under p\u00e5 mer enn ett forslag.<\/li>\n<li>De foresl\u00e5tte kandidatene m\u00e5 v\u00e6re valgbare og spurt om de \u00f8nsker \u00e5 stille til valg<\/li>\n<li>Kandidatene m\u00e5 forst\u00e5 norsk<\/li>\n<li>Forslaget sendes til\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:valgstyret@uib.no\">valgstyret@uib.no<\/a>\u00a0innen\u00a0<strong>5. mars kl 12.00<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I juni kommer valgene til fakultetsstyret og instituttr\u00e5d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frist for forslag p\u00e5 medlemmer (gruppe A, B og C) er satt til fredag 4. april 2025 kl 15 (gjelder b\u00e5de fakultetsstyret og instituttr\u00e5d)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Forslag sendes\/leveres til valgstyrets sekret\u00e6r,\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:gjert.bakkevold@mofa.uib.no\">Gjert Bakkevold<\/a>, fakultetssekretariatet (Amauer Hansens Hus 4. etg, rom 416).<\/p>\n<p>For at et forslag skal v\u00e6re lovlig framsatt, gjelder disse kravene:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forslaget m\u00e5 v\u00e6re skriftlig.<\/li>\n<li>Forslag p\u00e5 kandidat til styringsorgan skal v\u00e6re fremmet av minst samme antall forslagsstillere som det antall kandidater forslaget inneholder.<\/li>\n<li>En forslagsstiller kan ikke foresl\u00e5 seg selv som kandidat.<\/li>\n<li>De foresl\u00e5tte m\u00e5 v\u00e6re valgbare.<\/li>\n<li>Foresl\u00e5s kandidat som kan kreve seg fritatt fra valg, skal forslaget vedlegges skriftlig samtykke fra vedkommende.<\/li>\n<li>Ingen kan skrive under p\u00e5 mer enn ett forslag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Har du noen gang tenkt p\u00e5 \u00e5 stille til valg ved universitetsstyret, fakultetsstyret eller instituttr\u00e5d? \u00c5 v\u00e6re en del av universitetsstyret, fakultetsstyret eller instituttr\u00e5d gir deg en unik mulighet til \u00e5 p\u00e5virke viktige beslutninger og bidra til \u00e5 forme fremtiden for ditt akademiske milj\u00f8. Ved \u00e5 stille til valg kan du representere dine medstudenter eller kolleger, fremme deres interesser, og jobbe for \u00e5 forbedre universitetet. Det er en verdifull erfaring som kan gi deg innsikt, nettverk og ferdigheter som vil v\u00e6re nyttige i din videre karriere. Ta sjansen, engasjer deg, og v\u00e6r med p\u00e5 \u00e5 gj\u00f8re en forskjell! This is an important opportunity for students and staff to influence decisions that shape our academic environment.<\/p>\n<p>First up is the rector election (<strong>24-27 March 2025).<\/strong> There are 2 rector candidates, each with their own team, standing for election: current rector Margreth Hagen with a new team consisting of Pro-Rector Sigrunn Eliassen, Kjell-Morten Myr (Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Infrastructure) and Kristoffer Chelsom Vogt (Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalisation); and Lise \u00d8vre\u00e5s, who is running for election with Pro-Rector candidate Endre Tvinnereim, Marit \u00d8ilo (Vice-Rector for Education), Anne K. Bang (Vice-Rector for Internationalisation) and Karsten Specht (Vice-Rector for Innovation and Infrastructure).<\/p>\n<p>The next election will be the election of new members to the University Board (the election period is 2-7 May 2025). Here the election is for<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>two members and at least 2 deputy members of and among group A (permanent employees in academic positions)<\/li>\n<li>one member and at least 2 deputy members of and among group B (temporary staff in an academic position)<\/li>\n<li>one member and at least 2 deputies of and among group C (technical and administrative staff).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to submit proposals for members to the University Board<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The proposal must be signed by at least the same number of proposers as the number of candidates the proposal contains (groups A, B and C each constitute their own constituency). No one can sign more than one proposal.<\/li>\n<li>The proposed candidates must be eligible and asked if they wish to stand for election<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must understand Norwegian<\/li>\n<li>The proposal will be sent to <a href=\"mailto:valgstyret@uib.no\">valgstyret@uib.no<\/a> by <strong>5 March at 12.00 noon.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In June, the elections will be held for the Faculty Board and the Department Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline for proposals for members (groups A, B and C) is set for Friday 4 April 2025 at 3 pm (applies to both the faculty board and the department council)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Proposals should be sent\/delivered to the Election Committee&#8217;s secretary, <a href=\"mailto:gjert.bakkevold@mofa.uib.no\">Gjert Bakkevold<\/a>, Faculty Secretariat (Amauer Hansen&#8217;s House 4th floor, room 416).<\/p>\n<p>In order for a proposal to be legally submitted, the following requirements apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The proposal must be in writing.<\/li>\n<li>A proposal for a candidate for a governing body must be submitted by at least the same number of proposers as the number of candidates the proposal contains.<\/li>\n<li>A proposer cannot propose himself or herself as a candidate.<\/li>\n<li>Those proposed must be eligible for election.<\/li>\n<li>If a candidate is proposed who can claim exemption from election, the proposal must be accompanied by written consent from the person in question.<\/li>\n<li>No one can sign more than one proposal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have you ever thought about running for election to the University Board, the Faculty Board or the Department Council? Being part of the University Board, Faculty Board, or Department Council gives you a unique opportunity to influence important decisions and help shape the future of your academic environment. By running for office, you can represent your fellow students or colleagues, promote their interests, and work to improve the university. It is a valuable experience that can provide you with insights, networks, and skills that will be useful in your further career. Take the chance, get involved, and help make a difference!
