Fakultetet har derfor arbeidet frem en pr\u00f8veordning som forh\u00e5pentligvis kan ivareta b\u00e5de de tekniske utfordringene ved digital gjennomf\u00f8ring av disputas og smittevernhensyn.<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e5pnes n\u00e5 for en l\u00f8sning der inntil 20 personer kan v\u00e6re til stede i egnet UiB-lokale under pr\u00f8veforelesning og disputas.\u00a0<u>Dette kan kun skje etter avtale med instituttet og under forutsetning av at smittevernregler overholdes<\/u>. Kandidater som \u00f8nsker en slik l\u00f8sning, m\u00e5 ta kontakt med\u00a0Irene Hjelmaas (Irene.Hjelmaas@uib.no) s\u00e5 snart som mulig.\u00a0Det er kandidatens ansvar\u00a0\u00e5 melde inn deltakerlister\u00a0med telefonnummer\u00a0til instituttet senest 2 dager f\u00f8r disputasen.\u00a0Dersom deltakerlister ikke blir meldt inn, kan ikke publikum bli sluppet inn i lokalet.<\/p>\n<p>Ved avtale om fysisk disputas\u00a0skal det v\u00e6re en smittevernvakt til stede i lokalet under hele arrangementet. Denne har ansvar for adgangskontroll opp mot deltakerlisten, desinfisering av kontaktflater f\u00f8r og etter bruk og\u00a0at alle tilstedev\u00e6rende f\u00f8lger regler om \u00e5 holde avstand f\u00f8r, under og etter disputas. Smittevernvakten kan for eksempel v\u00e6re en fra kandidatens forskningsgruppe.<\/p>\n<p>Under doktorgradspr\u00f8ven vil v\u00e5r ph.d.-kontakt (organisert av Irene Hjelmaas) prioritere\u00a0det digitale arrangementet\u00a0da dette utgj\u00f8r grunnlaget for bed\u00f8mmelsen. Ph.d.-kontakt\u00a0vil derfor ikke v\u00e6re fysisk til stede, men vil v\u00e6re tilgjengelig digitalt og legge til rette for testing og gjennomf\u00f8ring.<\/p>\n<p>For \u00f8vrig gjelder f\u00f8lgende:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Heldigital disputas er fortsatt anbefalt. Med heldigitalt menes en l\u00f8sning der alle involverte, inkludert kandidaten disputerer fra sitt eget hjem eller kontor (med privat eller UiB-utstyr).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Alle som har en aktiv rolle i disputasen m\u00e5 delta i testing i god tid p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd, med det utstyret og i det rommet de skal oppholde seg p\u00e5 selve disputasen. Alle som har en aktiv rolle under disputasen m\u00e5 gj\u00f8re seg godt kjent med utstyret gjennom testingen.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; IT-assistent vil v\u00e6re fysisk til stede (s\u00e5 lenge de ikke m\u00e5 v\u00e6re i karantene e.l.). Dette bestilles via UiB-hjelp.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Zoom\u00a0webinar\u00a0er den anbefalte l\u00f8sningen fra UiB sentralt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Det blir dessverre ikke anledning til \u00e5 invitere flere enn 20 personer totalt inn i disputaslokalet selv om st\u00f8rrelsen p\u00e5 rommet skulle tilsi at det er mulig.<\/p>\n<p>Merk at n\u00e5r det gjelder publikumsadgang\u00a0kan det komme endringer p\u00e5 kort varsel dersom smittesituasjonen forverrer seg.<\/p>\n<p>Lykke til![:en]<a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2018\/08\/P\u00e5l-Nj\u00f8lstad.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14369 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2018\/08\/P\u00e5l-Nj\u00f8lstad.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"154\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2018\/08\/P\u00e5l-Nj\u00f8lstad.png 250w, https:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2018\/08\/P\u00e5l-Nj\u00f8lstad-229x300.png 229w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 154px) 100vw, 154px\" \/><\/a>The possibility for public attendence at the dissertations has been warranted as this is the day the candidates can show what they have been working on for so long. The Faculty has therefore developed a scheme that can hopefully address both the technical challenges of digital implementation of disputation and infection control considerations.<\/p>\n<p>A solution is now in place where up to 20 people can be present in a suitable UiB room during a trial lecture and dissertation. This can only take place by agreement with the Department and provided that infection control rules are complied with. Candidates who want such a solution must contact Irene Hjelmaas (Irene.Hjelmaas@uib.no) as soon as possible. It is the candidate&#8217;s responsibility to submit lists of participants with a telephone number to the Department no later than 2 days before the public defense. If lists of participants are not registered, the public can not be allowed into the room.<\/p>\n<p>By agreement on a physical dissertation, there must be an infection control guard present in the room during the entire event. This is responsible for access control up to the list of participants, disinfection of contact surfaces before and after use, and that everyone present follows the rules of keeping their distance before, during and after the public defense. The infection control guard can, for example, be one from the candidate&#8217;s research group.<\/p>\n<p>During the doctoral exam, our PhD contact (organized by Irene Hjelmaas) will prioritize the digital event as this forms the basis for the assessment. PhD contact will therefore not be physically present, but will be available digitally and facilitate testing and implementation.<\/p>\n<p>The following also applies:<br \/>\n&#8211; Full digital dissertations are still recommended. By fully digital is meant a solution where everyone involved, including the candidate, is disputing from their own home or office (with private or UiB equipment).<br \/>\n&#8211; Everyone who has an active role in the dissertation must participate in testing well in advance, with the equipment and in the room they will be staying at the disseration itself. Everyone who has an active role during the dissertation must become well acquainted with the equipment through testing.<br \/>\n&#8211; IT assistant will be physically present (as long as they do not have to be quarantined or similar).
