[:no]\"\"Maria Omsland startet som CCBIO Post Doktor i forskningsgruppen til Prof. Bj\u00f8rn Tore Gjertsen (The signaling-targeted therapy group). Omsland har BSc i Bioingeni\u00f8rfag samt MSc og PhD i medisinsk cellebiologi som ble fullf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 samme forskningsgruppe i 2017. Hun har kommet tilbake fra et litt over 2-\u00e5r langt forskningsopphold som post doktor ved National Institutes of Health (NIH) og intredde i stillingen ved K2 20.08.2019. I sitt nye prosjekt vil hun fokusere p\u00e5 celle-til-celle kommunikasjon og signalering i \u00a0beinmargsmilj\u00f8et i kronisk myeloid leukemi f\u00f8r og under behandling med tyorin kinase inhibitorer, med hovedvekt p\u00e5 bruk av imaging mass cytometry (IMC) og 2-foton mikroskopering av levende organismer. She just returned from a 2-year long research stay as a visiting <\/span>fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and enrolled in the <\/span>new position at K2 20.08.2019. In her new Post Doc project, she will <\/span>focus on cell-to-cell communication and signaling in the bone marrow <\/span>compartment of chronic myeloid leukemia before and during treatment with <\/span>tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
