Jeg er postdok i Martensgruppen (psykoseforskning) med spesiell <\/span>interesse for biologiske mekanismer knyttet til psykotiske lidelser. Jeg <\/span>er utdannet molekyl\u00e6rbiolog og har bred forskningbakgrunn fra <\/span>kreftforskning, stamceller og bioteknologi. Jeg tok PhD ved Institutt f<\/span>or Biomedisin i 2012 og jobbet 4 \u00e5r som forsker i SINTEF f\u00f8r jeg <\/span>begynte i n\u00e5v\u00e6rende stilling ved K2 i mai 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

Randi J Bertelsen er utdannet biolog ved Universitetet i Bergen og har en doktorgrad i milj\u00f8medisin og epidemiologi fra Universitetet i Oslo. Bertelsen var tidligere tilknyttet Nasjonalt folkehelseinstituttet og hadde et 2-\u00e5rig gjesteforskeropphold ved National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS\/NIH) i USA. Hovedfokus for forskningen er kjemikalieeksponering sett i sammenheng med utvikling av astma og allergi. I sin n\u00e5v\u00e6rende forskerstilling tilknyttet K2 (forskerprosjekt finansiert av NFR) ser Bertelsen p\u00e5 hvordan eksponering for antibakterielle kjemikalier kan p\u00e5virke bakterieflora i munnhule og lungehelse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mitt navn er Karianne Fjeld og jeg er utdannet molekyl\u00e6rbiolog. Jeg tok doktorgraden i 2006 og har siden den gang v\u00e6rt tilknyttet Diabetesgruppen ved K2, f\u00f8rst som postdoktor og n\u00e5 som forsker. I l\u00f8pet av disse \u00e5rene har mitt overordnede forskningsm\u00e5l v\u00e6rt \u00e5 belyse underliggende sykdomsmekanismer knyttet til bukspyttkjertelen, med s\u00e6rlig interesse for pankreatitt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Luiza Ghila er en postdoktor som arbeider med pankreaselcelleplastisitet og faktorer som er involvert i diabetesutbrudd i MODY-forskergruppen, under tilsyn av P\u00e5l Nj\u00f8lstad og Helge Reder.
\nLuiza fikk sin bachelorgrad fra University of Bucharest, Romania og hennes PhD i utviklingsnorobiologi fra Universitetet i Gen\u00e8ve, Sveits. I de siste 8 \u00e5rene har hun jobbet innen bukspyttkjertelbiologi og regenerering.<\/p>\n

I am postdoctoral in the Martens group (psychosis research) with special interest in biological mechanisms related to psychotic disorders. I am a molecular biologist and have broad research background from cancer research, stem cells and biotechnology. I graduated from the Department of Biomedicine in 2012 and worked for 4 years as a researcher in SINTEF before I started in current position at K2 in May 2017.<\/p>\n

Randi J Bertelsen is a biologist at the University of Bergen and holds a PhD in Environmental Medicine and Epidemiology from the University of Oslo. Bertelsen was previously affiliated with the National Institute of Public Health and had a 2-year visiting researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS \/ NIH) in the United States. The main focus of research is chemical exposure seen in the context of the development of asthma and allergy. In her current research position associated with K2 (research project funded by the NFR), Bertelsen looks at how exposure to antibacterial chemicals can affect bacterial chlorine in the oral cavity and lung health.<\/p>\n

My name is Karianne Fjeld and I am a molecular biologist. <\/span>I did my PhD in 2006 and have since then been affiliated with the Bergen Diabetes Group at K2, first as a postdoc and now as a researcher. During these years my overall research goal has been to elucidate the underlying disease mechanisms of the pancreas, with a special interest in pancreatitis.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Luiza Ghila is a postdoctoral fellow working on pancreatic islet cell plasticity and factors involved in diabetes onset in the MODY research group, under the supervision of P\u00e5l Nj\u00f8lstad and Helge R\u00e6der.<\/p>\n

Luiza obtained her Bachelor\u2019s degree from University of Bucharest, Romania and her PhD in Developmental Neurobiology from\u00a0University of Geneva, Switzerland. For the last 8 years, she has been working in the field of pancreas biology and regeneration.<\/p>\n
