Dette forumet er en utmerket mulighet til \u00e5 knytte nettverk med stipendiater, postdoktorer og andre kolleger i v\u00e5rt forskningsmilj\u00f8. Denne gangen vil hovedforelesningen bli presentert av professor Anne Christine Johannessen. Hun er tidligere rektor for internasjonale saker ved UiB (2013\u20132017), og vi gleder oss til \u00e5 h\u00f8re om hennes erfaringer fra lokalt og globalt akademisk liv. I tillegg byr symposiet p\u00e5 emner som molekyl\u00e6r funksjon av N-terminal acetylering, hvordan man etablerer et ex vivo-anlegg, fettfordeling i endometriekreft, og nyere fremskritt rettet mot tyrosinkinase-reseptorer i kreft.<\/p>\n

This time, the inspirational lecture will be presented by CCBO PI Professor Anne Christine Johannessen. She is the former Vice-Rector for International Affairs at our university (2013\u20132017), and we look forward to hearing about her experiences from local and global academic life. In addition, other topics at this symposium includes molecular function of N-terminal acetylation, how to establish an ex-vivo facility, fat-distribution in endometrial cancer, and recent advances in targeting tyrosine kinase receptors in cancer.
