An important task for COST is to promote European research by initiating scientific networks (\u201cCOST actions\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>General information on COST can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forskningsradet.no\/no\/COST__Europeisk_forsknings_og_teknologisamarbeid\/1253984958631\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">here<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">here<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2016 it was decided to initiate 26 new COST actions, of which the following is within \/ relevant for medical and health research:<span id=\"more-9100\"><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CA15203 \u2013 Mitochondrial mapping: Evolution \u2013 Age \u2013 Gender \u2013 Lifestyle \u2013 Environment (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15203\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15203 \u2013 MITOEAGLE<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15204 \u2013 European Platform for Outcomes Research into Perioperative Interventions during Surgery for Cancer (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15204\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15204 \u2013 EuRO-PeriSCope<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15205 \u2013 Gene Regulation Ensemble Effort for the Knowledge Commons (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15205\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15205 \u2013 GREEKC<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15208 \u2013 Rationing \u2013 Missed Nursing care: An international and multidimensional problem (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15208\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15208 \u2013 RANCARE<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15210 \u2013 European Network for Collaboration on Kidney Exchange Programmes (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15210\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15210 \u2013 ENCKEP<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15214 \u2013 An integrative action for multidisciplinary studies on cellular structural networks (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15214\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15214 \u2013 EuroCellNet<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15216 \u2013 European Network of Bioadhesion Expertise: Fundamental Knowledge to Inspire Advanced Bonding Technologies (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15216\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15216 \u2013 ENBA<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>CA15222 \u2013 European Network for cost containment and improved quality of health care (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cost.eu\/COST_Actions\/ca\/CA15222\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #0066cc\">CA15222 \u2013 COSTCares<\/span><\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Summary of the actions can be found by following the links in the parentheses.
