\"Eystein<\/a>Neste uke m\u00f8tes K2 sine forskningsgruppe- og fagomr\u00e5deledere til strategiseminar. Et hovedtema er organiseringen av instituttet. Mye fungerer bra hos 2-\u00e5ringen K2 og jeg vil trekke fram de administrative tjenestene som et godt eksempel. Mindre vellykket er delingen av organisasjonsstrukturen i fagomr\u00e5der med undervisningsoppgaver og forskningsgrupper. Vi \u00f8nsker \u00e5 diskutere organisasjonsstrukturen bredt med m\u00e5l om en mer operativ og effektiv instituttstruktur som involverer forskningsgruppelederne i mye st\u00f8rre grad enn tidligere.<\/p>\n

Et annet hovedtema er samarbeid med andre institusjoner. Jeg \u00f8nsker et tettere og mer dynamisk samarbeid med sykehusavdelingene knyttet til K2. Dette samarbeidet fungerer trolig aller best i dag p\u00e5 de mindre og faglig veldefinerte avdelingene som KK, BKB, Medisinsk genetikk og Reumatologi, mens det er et stort forbedringspotensiale i samarbeidet med for store avdelinger som for eksempel Medisinsk avdeling og Hjerteavdelingen. At ledere p\u00e5 sykehus og institutt er representert i hverandres ledergrupper kan v\u00e6re en m\u00e5te \u00e5 fremme dette p\u00e5. Her kan vi l\u00e6re av de spennende l\u00f8sningene de praktiserer i Trondheim der sykehus og universitetsledelse samarbeider sv\u00e6rt tett.<\/p>\n

Ingenting er bestemt p\u00e5 forh\u00e5nd. Jeg h\u00e5per derfor p\u00e5 en kreativ og konstruktiv samling.<\/p>\n

\"Eystein<\/a>Next week K2\u2019s research group leaders and the heads of the teaching sections will meet for a strategy seminar. \u00a0A main topic will be the organization of the institute.\u00a0 Quite a lot works well at the 2-year old K2, and I want to highlight the administrative services as a good example.\u00a0 Less successful is the dividing of the organizational structure into teaching sections and research groups.\u00a0 We wish to discuss the organizational structure as a whole with the aim of achieving a more operational and efficient institute structure which involves the research group leaders to a larger extent than before.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Another main issue is collaboration with other institutions.\u00a0 I wish for a tighter and more dynamic collaboration with the hospital sections attached to K2.\u00a0 This collaboration is currently probably working best at the smaller and professionalized departments such as the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, The Children’s Clinic, Medical Genetics and Rheumatology.\u00a0 However, a large potential for improvement exists regarding the collaboration with very large departments such as, for instance, the Department of Internal Medicine and Department of Heart Disease.\u00a0 If all leaders at the hospital and the institutes were represented in each other\u2019s leader groups, then this could perhaps promote this collaboration.\u00a0 Here we can learn from the exciting solutions they have in Trondheim, where hospital and university leadership collaborate very closely.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Nothing has been decided in advance.\u00a0 Thus, I hope for a creative and constructive seminar.<\/p>\n
