Professors and Heads of Department at the University of Bergen (UiB) may nominate candidates in the areas of research, research communication, and young research talent. The nomination deadline is 1 December 2026, and the awards will be presented on 11 March 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">K2 encourages all academic communities to consider potential candidates and take advantage of this opportunity to recognize outstanding achievements in research and research communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three Award Categories<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Meltzer Awards are presented in the following categories.
