It is stated that personal data has been compromised. UiB's learning platform Mitt UiB is not affected by the incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My UiB uses a version of Canvas that UiB operates itself and where data is stored in UiB's own data centers. UiB has decided to switch to the Canvas cloud service during the 2026\/2027 academic year and will start a pilot project in the fall of 2026. Due to the incident, UiB has chosen to put data transfer to Canvas on hold until the situation is clarified and the supplier can guarantee the security of our data.
