All employees at UiB must have completed fire safety training, which consists of a digital fire safety course and practical extinguishing. This requirement is stipulated in the Fire Act and the HSE Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital fire protection course<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The digital course takes approximately 30 minutes and can be completed at a time that suits you.

Practical extinguishing course<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The practical part is carried out by Teknisk Industrivern AS and is now free for all employs<\/strong>We recommend to take this course, \nas it provides valuable experience in handling fire in a real situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course lasts approximately 1 hour and is held at the square between the Maritime Museum and Sydnesplass 7 (HF building). You register yourself via scheduled course dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a group wishes to take the course together, Teknisk Industrivern can be contacted to arrange a separate time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage all employees to complete fire safety training during the year. The practical course may be full, so it may be a good idea to register early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
