Welcome to an insightful lecture with Randi Rosenqvist, Norway's most experienced forensic psychiatrist.<\/strong> With nearly 50 years of experience in psychiatry and correctional services, she provides a unique insight into how society encounters people who commit serious acts of violence \u2013 often the sickest among us, who are let down by both care and the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She shares experiences from major forensic psychiatric trials, including the case against Anders Behring Breivik, and reflects on the role of forensic psychiatry. Rosenqvist reminds us that even the most dangerous are also human beings with feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her work, she has received the Order of St. Olav, the Norwegian Prize for the Protection of the Rule of Law and the Norwegian Transparency Prize (2024). She is currently working on the book \"My life, my profession: heavy psychiatry \u2013 betrayal of the sickest\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
