\"The IVIS Spectrum - More Than 2D Bioluminescence!\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IVIS Spectrum is a powerful optical imaging system which can visualise bioluminescence and fluorescence. This allows the tracking of many disease processes longitudinally with extremely high sensitivity. 2D imaging of bioluminescent tumours is a very common and excellent tool for tracking tumour progression. However, the IVIS Spectrum is capable of much more than this.<\/p>\n\n\n

This seminar will introduce some of the less well-known features and applications of the IVIS Spectrum, including 3D imaging, spectral unmixing, imaging of in vitro samples, plants, and chick embryo models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held by\u00a0Jack Sharkey<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0Revvity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Jack Sharkey has been an application scientist as part of Revvity\u2019s in vivo imaging team since 2021. He has approaching 10 years of experience in the field of preclinical imaging. His background lies in Pharmacology and Toxicology, with focus on novel biomarkers of organ injury, and regenerative medicine. Prior to this role at Revvity, Jack worked both as a postdoctoral researcher and technical manager at the Centre for Preclinical Imaging at the University of Liverpool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
