[:no]UiB har inng\u00e5tt et pilotprosjekt med MIT samarbeidsmidler \u2013 dvs at forskere fra MIT kan s\u00f8ke om midler til \u00e5 samarbeide med oss. Medisinsk fakultet blir med i dette fra i h\u00f8st, med utlysning planlagt i September.<\/p>\n

Det er forholdsvis sm\u00e5 midler \u2013 et stipend p\u00e5 30 000 USD \u2013 som kan brukes til reising og korttidsopphold begge retninger. Det administreres fra MIT og MIT partner vil derfor st\u00e5 som s\u00f8ker. UiB forskere kan gjerne mobilisere MIT-kontaktene sine.  [:en]UiB has initiated a pilot project with MIT collaboration funds \u2014meaning that researchers from MIT can apply for funding to collaborate with us. The Faculty of Medicine will join this initiative starting this autumn, with call announced in September.<\/p>\n

The funding is relatively modest\u2014a grant of $30,000 USD\u2014which can be used for travel and short-term stays in both directions. It is administered by MIT, so the MIT partner will act as the applicant. UiB researchers are encouraged to mobilize their MIT contacts. Environments\/researchers at K2 who might be interested are invited to contact research advisor Andreas Westermoen at andreas.westermoen@uib.no<\/a> before 17th<\/sup> June.<\/p>\n
