{"id":24488,"date":"2024-12-20T10:45:25","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T09:45:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/?p=24488"},"modified":"2024-12-20T10:52:43","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T09:52:43","slug":"the-global-health-edctp3-work-programme-2025-has-been-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/en\/2024\/12\/20\/the-global-health-edctp3-work-programme-2025-has-been-published\/","title":{"rendered":"The Global Health EDCTP3 Work Programme 2025 has been published."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[:no]<strong>The Global Health EDCTP3 <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-health-edctp3.europa.eu\/document\/download\/a8679719-555a-43c6-8014-22bc7ec3be5c_en?filename=EDCTP3_Annual_Work%20Programme_2025.pdf\">Work Programme 2025<\/a><\/strong><strong> has been published. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The calls will support a range of Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) aimed at developing novel vaccines and therapeutics for tuberculosis, malaria, and neglected tropical diseases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vaccines for reducing the disease burden of tuberculosis in sub-Saharan Africa<\/li>\n<li>Malaria therapeutics and clinical development of new antimalarial candidates<\/li>\n<li>Accelerating the development of prophylactic vaccines against neglected tropical diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) will strengthen the enabling environment for conducting clinical research in Africa:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic training hubs for fellowships in public health<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the regional networks of excellence and epidemic preparedness consortia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rapidly growing climate and health challenge will be addressed in Research and Innovation Actions (RIA):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tackling diarrhoeal diseases in the context of climate and health transformative innovations<\/li>\n<li>Transformative innovations in global health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The calls for proposals will open in late <strong>January 2025<\/strong>.
