Forslag til Falch forelesning <\/strong><\/p>\n

(The Falch lecture) 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fagmilj\u00f8ene ved instituttene inviteres herved til \u00e5 fremme forslag til Falch forelesning 2025.<\/p>\n

Rammen for tildelingen er kr 40 000, – til dekning av honorar og reise- og oppholdsutgifter. Kostnadsoverslag bes lagt ved s\u00f8knaden. Det kan bli aktuelt med flere tildelinger.<\/p>\n

Retningslinjer for Falch forelesning<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Forslagsstiller er Styret som kan invitere generelt anerkjente forskere p\u00e5 Nobelprisniv\u00e5 eller meget h\u00f8yt internasjonalt niv\u00e5 til \u00e5 holde en gjesteforelesning og\/eller seminar ved Det medisinske fakultet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Styret kan invitere ansatte til \u00e5 fremme forslag og dokumentere deres forskningsinnsats. Kriteriene kan v\u00e6re publisering i prestisjetunge vitenskapelige tidsskrift, internasjonale priser, lederfunksjoner i tungtveiende og aktive internasjonale vitenskapelige sammenslutninger og konferanser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Falch foreleser b\u00f8r ha samarbeid med eller bidratt p\u00e5 annen m\u00e5te til forskningsvirksomheten ved Det medisinske fakultet. Dette er likevel ikke et krav for \u00e5 foresl\u00e5 en kandidat.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Falch forelesning b\u00f8r fortrinnsvis skje ved fysisk tilstedev\u00e6relse av foreleser, men kan ogs\u00e5 gjennomf\u00f8res via digitale medier.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Falch foreleser tildeles diplom som markerer begivenheten.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Forslag sendes til okonomi@med.uib.no<\/a> innen 8\/12 2024<\/strong> og behandles av styret i Konsul S\u00f8ren Falch og \u00f8yenlege Sigurd Falchs fond for medisinsk vitenskap.<\/p>\n

            ANNOUNCEMENT \u2013 DEADLINE 8\/12 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Proposals for the Falch Lecture 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The academic communities at the institutes are hereby invited to submit proposals for the Falch Lecture 2025.<\/p>\n

            The framework for the award is NOK 40,000 to cover fees and travel and accommodation expenses. A cost estimate should be attached to the application. Multiple awards may be possible.<\/p>\n

            Guidelines for the Falch Lecture<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. The proposer is the Board, which can invite generally recognized researchers at Nobel Prize level or very high international level to give a guest lecture and\/or seminar at the Faculty of Medicine.<\/li>\n
            2. The Board can invite employees to submit proposals and document their research efforts. Criteria may include publication in prestigious scientific journals, international awards, leadership roles in significant and active international scientific associations and conferences.<\/li>\n
            3. The Falch lecturer should preferably have collaborated with or contributed in some way to the research activities at the Faculty of Medicine. However, this is not a requirement to propose a candidate.<\/li>\n
            4. The Falch Lecture should preferably take place with the physical presence of the lecturer but can also be conducted via digital media.<\/li>\n
            5. The Falch lecturer will be awarded a diploma to mark the event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Proposals should be sent to okonomi@med.uib.no by 8\/12 2024<\/strong> and will be reviewed by the Board of the Consul S\u00f8ren Falch and Ophthalmologist Sigurd Falch\u2019s Fund for Medical Science.<\/p>\n
