Fakultetet setter n\u00e5 i gang med \u00e5 mobilisere til neste utlysning av Sentre for fremragende forskning (SFF-VI) som vil bli publisert v\u00e5ren 2025 med s\u00f8knadsfrist for trinn 1 i slutten av 2025, mens s\u00f8knadsfrist for trinn 2 er planlagt v\u00e5ren 2026. Ved forrige s\u00f8knadsrunde (SFF-V) sendte UiB 25 s\u00f8knader. Av disse ble syv initiativ invitert til \u00e5 sende s\u00f8knad til runde to. To sentre ved UiB ble finansiert. Fakultetet sendte seks s\u00f8knader, tre gikk videre til runde to og en ble finansiert. \u00a0Forsknings- og innovasjonsavdelingen sentralt har koordineringsansvaret for prosessen. Det vil bli etablert egne s\u00f8knadsteam med ressurser fra b\u00e5de sentralniv\u00e5et og fakultetene, som sammen vil gi administrativ bistand til de enkelte initiativene<\/p>\n
Det er viktig \u00e5 kartlegge allerede n\u00e5 hvem som planlegger SFF-s\u00f8knad slik at vi kan rigge prosessen videre p\u00e5 best mulig m\u00e5te, og koble initiativene fra MED opp mot FIA sitt st\u00f8tteapparat. I f\u00f8rste omgang \u00f8nsker vi informasjon om hvem som tenker \u00e5 s\u00f8ke. Vi har utarbeidet et skjema hvor forskerne blir bedt om \u00e5 beskrive tema for initiativet og hvilke partnere som kan tenkes \u00e5 inng\u00e5 i senteret. UiB vil \u00f8remerke stimuleringsmidler som vil deles ut i to omganger, f\u00f8rste omgang er v\u00e5ren 2024.<\/p>\n [:en]<\/p>\n The faculty is now starting to mobilize for the next call for Centers of Excellence (SFF-VI), which will be published in the spring of 2025, with the application deadline for stage 1 at the end of 2025, while the application deadline for stage 2 is planned for spring 2026. At the previous round of applications (SFF-V) sent UiB 25 applications. Of these, seven initiatives were invited to send an application to round two. Two centers at UiB were funded. The faculty sent six applications, three progressed to round two and one was funded. The central research and innovation department has coordination responsibility for the process. Separate teams will be established for this application round with resources from both the central level and the faculties, which together will provide administrative assistance to the individual initiatives<\/p>\n It is important to map out already now who is planning an SFF application so that we can rig the process forward in the best possible way, and link the initiatives from MED up to the FIA’s support apparatus. In the first instance, we want information about who is thinking of applying.
