This society aims to gather researchers in the Nordic countries interested in genomics and other omics, and to build infrastructure to perform research in all cohorts and biobanks totaling some 29 million inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2021\/10\/2021-NSHG-PM-Conference-Call-for-Abstracts.pdf\">The\u00a0meeting is digital and November 8-9<\/a> hosted by Mark Daly (Director for FINNGENE, PI at MGH). There is also a <a href=\"http:\/\/k2info.w.uib.no\/files\/2021\/10\/2021-NSHG-PM-COVID-19-Workshop-Call-for-Abstracts.pdf\">workshop on COVID-19 November 4<\/a> chaired by K\u00e1ri Stef\u00e1nsson (Director for DeCode Genetics) and Camilla Stoltenberg (Director for NIPH).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Submission deadlines for both\u00a0meetings are\u00a0<strong>October 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It&#8217;s worth noting that exceptional abstracts will be offered speaking slots and we will give financial prizes to top posters by young investigators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Best,<br \/>\nP\u00e5l R.
