Som med alt annet arbeid p\u00e5 instituttet har koronaepidemien ogs\u00e5 hatt betydelig innvirkning p\u00e5 hvordan vi kunne gjennomf\u00f8re undervisning. Og her har medarbeidere vist stor grad av fleksibilitet: tross fysisk stengt campus har v\u00e5re studenter f\u00e5tt oppf\u00f8lging og undervisning men p\u00e5 andre m\u00e5ter og via andre kanaler.<\/p>\n<p>Forelesninger er flyttet fra auditorier til nett, det er spilt inn forelesninger vi Kaltura eller lagt lydspor p\u00e5 Powerpointfiler og lagt ut i MittUiB, gruppeundervisning eller forelesninger er avholdt via Zoom eller Skype. Og selv om sykehuset stengte ned sv\u00e6rt mye pasientbehandling s\u00e5 har studenter som trengte praksis for \u00e5 f\u00e5 midlertidig lisens f\u00e5tt gjennomf\u00f8rt og godkjent revidert minimumstjenste. Dette gir Norge flere som kan virke som leger til sommeren (da er vi bedre rustet til en evt ny koronab\u00f8lge).<\/p>\n<p>Takk ogs\u00e5 til sykehusene i v\u00e5r region (Haukeland, Hardaldsplass, Stavanger, F\u00f8rde og Haugesund) som har medvirket til at studenter faktisk har f\u00e5tt gjennomf\u00f8rt sin praksis. Vi har v\u00e6rt langt heldigere stilt enn i Oslo, der smekket de d\u00f8rene for studenter.<\/p>\n<p>Fakultetet har opprettet en gruppe av superbruker innen digital undervisning, Bergithe Eikeland Oftedal er K2s representant. Hun skal ikke v\u00e6re IT-tekniker eller drive individuell oppl\u00e6ring men kan r\u00e5dgi om hva som er tilgjengelig av program og hva som er form\u00e5lstjenlig \u00e5 bruke.<\/p>\n<p>Tilslutt: Takk for meg! Jeg har v\u00e6rt undervisningsleder K2 siden jeg ble ansatt som professor h\u00f8st 2015, dvs jeg startet samtidig med \u00abny\u00bb studieplan for medisin. Det har v\u00e6rt spennende \u00e5 f\u00f8lge implementering av den, delta i det indre liv i instituttledelsen og passe p\u00e5 at undervisning er s\u00e5 h\u00f8yt p\u00e5 agendaen som det fortjener! As with all other work, the corona epidemic also had a significant impact on how we could conduct educational activities. Under these circumstances, all staff have shown a great deal of flexibility: despite physically closed campus, our students have been nurtured and provided education, but using other modalities and through other channels.<\/p>\n<p>Lectures have been moved from auditoriums to the web, been recorded through Kaltura or sound tracks on PowerPoint files and posted at MittUiB, group sessions or lectures are held via Zoom or Skype. And even though the hospital closed down a great deal of patient care, students who needed practice to obtain a temporary license have completed and been approved the revised minimum service. This provide Norway more people who can function as doctors from summer and onwards (leaving us better equipped for a possible new corona wave).<\/p>\n<p>Thanks also to the hospitals in our region (Haukeland, Haraldsplass, Stavanger, F\u00f8rde and Haugesund) that have helped students to actually complete their practice. We have been far more fortunate than in Oslo, where hospital closed the doors for students in clinical practice.<\/p>\n<p>The faculty has established a group of super-users in digital teaching, Bergithe Eikeland Oftedal is K2&#8217;s representative. She shall not act as IT technician or conduct individual training but can advise on what programs\/equipment and what is appropriate to use.<\/p>\n<p>Finally: Thanks and goodbye from me! I have been acting as teaching director for K2 since I was hired as professor in the fall of 2015, ie. I started at the same time as the &laquo;new&raquo; curriculum for medicine. It has been exciting to follow the implementation (both of the curriculum and my professional academic function), participate in the inner life of the department management and to truly ensure that teaching is as high on the agenda as it deserves! I am not quitting teaching but I am transferring the formal responsibility as leader of teaching \u00a0to my successor Mette Vesterhus.
