[:no]\"\"<\/a>Jeg overtar som vikar for P\u00e5l Nj\u00f8lstad i dag og skal fungere som instituttleder de neste 6 m\u00e5nedene. Emmet McCormack blir min stedfortreder, mens Silke Appel og Jone Trovik fortsetter i sine roller som visestyrere for henholdsvis forskning og undervisning. Lederteamet og jeg vil fors\u00f8ke \u00e5 l\u00f8se oppgavene som ligger foran oss p\u00e5 en god m\u00e5te sammen med administrasjonen.<\/p>\n

En av saken vi arbeider med er strategiplanen. Eksisterende plan g\u00e5r ut ved \u00e5rsskiftet, men vi har n\u00e5 forlenget den med ett \u00e5r for \u00e5 f\u00e5 mer tid til \u00e5 meisle ut en ny. Til v\u00e5ren planlegges en retreat for hele instituttet p\u00e5 Solstrand som erstatning for strategiseminaret og instituttets dag \u2013 da vil den nye strategiplanen v\u00e6re et sentralt tema. Det som er sikkert er at \u00f8kt bidrags- og oppdragsfinansiert aktivitet (BOA) vil v\u00e6re sentralt. Et annet punkt blir disponering av stillingsressurser. Lovendringene som reduserer mulighetene for \u00e5 ansette personer i midlertidige stillinger vil gi instituttet utfordringer i tiden som kommer \u2013 alt dette m\u00e5 vi fors\u00f8ke \u00e5 l\u00f8se p\u00e5 en god m\u00e5te i fellesskap.<\/p>\n

Tilslutt vil jeg \u00f8nske alle talentfulle medarbeidere lykke til med innspurten med Helse-Vests\u00f8knadene.<\/p>\n

Eystein[:en]\"\"<\/a>I will act as Head of Department for the next 6 months in P\u00e5l Nj\u00f8lstad\u2019s absence. Emmet McCormack will be my deputy, while Silke Appel and Jone Trovik continue in their roles as Vice Heads for research and teaching, respectively. The administrative team and I will do our best to solve the tasks ahead of us in a good way.<\/p>\n

One of the issues we are working with is the strategy plan. The existing plan expires at the end of the year, but we have now extended it for one year to get more time to work out a new one. In March we will invite to whole institute to a retreat at Solstrand as a substitute for next year\u2019s strategy seminar and institute day. The new strategic plan will be a central theme at the retreat. External funding will be a key issue for discussions. Another point is the allocation of positions. The legislative changes that reduce our opportunity to hire persons temporary will give the department challenges over time, but I am confident that we will manage to solve these issues in a good way together.<\/p>\n

Finally, I wish all our talented employees good luck with the applications to Helse-Vest.<\/p>\n
