[:no]\"Jone<\/a>Takk til OSCE-ladden Ketil Grong for st\u00f8dig organisering, motivering, arrangering og evaluering. Og takk til dem som laget oppgaver og bidro som eksaminator\/sensor samt tidtager\/organisering.<\/p>\n

For de som ikke har skj\u00f8nt hva dette er; Objective Structured Clinical Exam, til erstatning for tradisjonell muntlig eksaminering. Det lages stasjoner med en oppgave som skal v\u00e6re klinisk rettet, i \u00e5r hadde de 14 ulike oppgaver som ble kj\u00f8rt parallelt to \u201drunder\u201d. Alts\u00e5 hver oppgave dubleres; avholdes i to ulike rom med hver sin eksaminator=sensor. Studentene var denne gang innom 14 ulike oppgaver; stemmegaffelpr\u00f8ve, makroanatomi: identifisere hjertestrukturer, hypertensjon\/Kontorblodtrykk: m\u00e5ling av blodtrykk, hjerteauskultasjon, halspalpasjon, abdomen og rektaleksplorasjon, leddstatus-unders\u00f8kelse, hjerte-lunge-redning, taking og tolking av normalt EKG, anamneseopptak (kommunikasjon), mikroskopi\/evaluering av dyrkningssk\u00e5ler, hofteunders\u00f8kelse og tilslutt geriatri (sistnevnte post vet jeg ikke helt hva gikk ut p\u00e5).<\/p>\n

OSCE-ladden med teknisk assistent rigget dagen f\u00f8r (p\u00e5 Medisinsk Ferdighetssenter og kurssaler BBB-bygget, noen f\u00e5 eksaminatorer stakk innom. 32 studenter deltok p\u00e5 eksamen, to \u201dhvilestasjoner\u201d innimellom de 14 aktive eksamineringsstasjoner= 2,5 timer aktiv eksaminering. etter eksamen 4 timers rydding.<\/p>\n

Konklusjon; Studentene var forn\u00f8yde. OSCE generalen sliten (men forn\u00f8yd?), men trenger mer PRAKTISK\/ADMINISTRATIV hjelp neste gang.<\/p>\n

Utfordringer: elektronisk l\u00f8sning for hvordan registrere resultat pr stasjon umiddelbart m\u00e5 anskaffes. N\u00e5r dette rulles ut i stor skala; 160 studenter hver v\u00e5r 6. Semester trengs flere parallelle sirkler og b\u00e5de areal og utstyr m\u00e5 multipliseres.<\/p>\n

Neste OSCE h\u00f8st 2017 er 8. November<\/strong>. Da forutsetter at ALLE grupper fra K2 med undervisningsbidrag inn ilp. 1.-6..semester (dvs tre f\u00f8rste studie\u00e5r) SKAL utarbeide minst en stasjonsoppgave hver og ha tilgjengelig tre personer som kan v\u00e6re eksaminator\/sensor pr oppgave en leverer. Dvs. INGEN ordin\u00e6r undervisning denne dag. Og det forutsetter at man har personell tilgjengelig (ingen god dag \u00e5 planlegge\/reise p\u00e5 kongress\/m\u00f8te\u2026).<\/p>\n

V\u00e5r 2018 skal vi ha f\u00f8rste OSCE for hele kullet, dvs 5 parallelle sesjoner. Vi vil trenge 65 eksaminatorer og da blir det definitivt FACULTY LOCKDOWN. <\/strong>Dato vil bli annonsert tidlig p\u00e5 h\u00f8sten, slik at undervisere kan allokeres hit.<\/p>\n

Men f\u00f8r den tid: god pinse!<\/p>\n

For\u00a0those who haven’t understood what this is; Objective Structured Clinical Exam, to replace traditonal oral\u00a0examinations. Stations are made with a task that should be clinically directed, this year they had 14 different tasks that ran parallell in\u00a0two »rounds»
\nSo every task duplicated; held in two different rooms with an examinator each. The students were doing 14 different assignments this time; tuning fork test, makroanatomi, identify heart structures, hypertension\/ Control blood pressure,\u00a0heartauscultation, throatpalpation, abdomen and rectal Exploration, joint status survey, Cardiac pulmonary resuscitation, talking and interpreting about normal EKG, case history (communication), microscopy\/ evaluation of culturedishes, hip examination and finally geriatri (the latter post I don’t\u00a0quite know what\u00a0was about)<\/p>\n

The OSCE-lad with a tenical assisstent rigged the day before (at the Medical Skills Center and the course rooms in the BBB building a few examiners stuck their head in. 32 students attended the exam, two »resting stations» between the 14 active examinatior = 2,5 hours of active examinations, after 4 hours of clean-up.<\/p>\n

Conclusion: the students were satisfied. The OSCE general tired (but satisfied?), but needs more PRACTICAL \/ ADMINISTRATIVE help next time<\/p>\n

Challenges: Electronic solution for how to record earnings per station must immediately be procuted. When this is rolled out on a large scale; 160 students each spring 6th semester need more parallel circles and both area and equipment must be dobbled.<\/p>\n

Next OSCE autum 2017 is November 8th<\/strong>.\u00a0That assumes\u00a0that\u00a0ALL Groups from K2 with tuition allowance in 1st -6th semester\u00a0(that means\u00a0the Three first\u00a0years of study)\u00a0MUST prepare at least one station assignment each and have avaliable Three People who can be examinatior per ask one delivers. That means NO ordinary teaching this day. And it is assumed that you have peronnel availability (not a good day to plan\/ go to a congress\/Meetings)<\/p>\n

Spring 2018 we’re have the first OSCE for the Whole class, that means 5 parallel sections. We\u00a0will need 65 examinators and then it will definitely be FACULTY LOCKDOWN. <\/strong>The date will be announced early in the fall, so that Teachers can be allocated here.<\/p>\n
