Totalt er det 46 teknikere ansatt p\u00e5 grunnbevilgningen ved K2. I tillegg kommer alle teknikerne som er eksternt l\u00f8nnet ved instituttet. Teknikerne p\u00e5 grunnbevilgningen er fordelt p\u00e5 forskningsgruppene etter en bestemt formel basert p\u00e5 gruppens st\u00f8rrelse, forskningsproduksjon og siteringsindeks. Det er forskningsgruppeleder som er ansvarlig for disponeringen av teknikerne tilknyttet gruppen. Det inneb\u00e6rer at alle i gruppen skal ha lik tilgang p\u00e5 hjelp fra teknikerne. Ikke minst er det viktig at yngre forskere p\u00e5 vei opp, blir sett n\u00e5r teknikerresursene skal fordeles. Det b\u00f8r ikke v\u00e6re slik at teknikerne er forbeholdt de etablerte professorene i gruppene. Endelig er det viktig at ogs\u00e5 teknikernes kompetanse og \u00f8nsker blir ivaretatt i denne fordelingen.<\/p>\n<p>Tilslutt skal jeg minne om at K2 har satt av midler til kompetanseheving for teknikere. Det kan s\u00f8kes om midler n\u00e5r som helst. St\u00f8tte fra instituttet forutsetter at forskningsgruppen bidrar med samme bel\u00f8p det s\u00f8kes om. In total, there are 46 technicians employed on basic funding at K2. In addition, there all the technicians who are externally salaried at the department. Technicians employed on basic funding are allocated across the research groups after a certain formula based on group size, research production and citation index. The research group leader is responsible for the disposition of the technicians associated with the group. This means that everyone in the group should have equal access to assistance from the technicians. It is particularly important that young researchers are included when the technical resources are allocated. It should not be the case that the technicians are reserved for the established professors in the groups. Finally, it is important that the technicians&#8217; skills and wishes are taken into account in the allocation of resources.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, I will remind you that K2 has set aside funds for competence building among technicians. It can be applied for funding at any time. Support from the department assumes that the research group contributes with the same amount as it is applied for.
