Han er PhD-stipendiat i endokrinologisk forskningsgruppe ved K2, som ledes av Eystein Husebye. Stipendet skal finansiere et utenlandsopphold denne v\u00e5ren ved Universitetet i Oxford, hvor Bruserud vil unders\u00f8ke immunologiske mekanismer ved autoimmunt polyendokrint syndrom type-1. Here, Bruserud will investigate immunological mechanisms in autoimmune polyendocrine syndrome type 1.
