[:no]\"bakke0x2c_per_0x2830x29\"<\/a>Den nye studieplanen i medisin inneb\u00e6rer like mange studiepoeng som den gamle, og like mye undervisning. Det skulle tilsi at behovet for l\u00e6rere er uendret i forhold til den gamle studieplanen. Men i enkelte fag er behovet for l\u00e6rerkrefter i perioder med gruppearbeid \u00f8kt. En mulighet for \u00e5 m\u00f8te dette \u00f8kte behovet er \u00e5 satse p\u00e5 klinikere p\u00e5 sykehusene. Klinikerne kunne ansattes som kliniske instrukt\u00f8rer p\u00e5 instituttet. Som kompensasjon kunne de f\u00e5 tilgang til UiB sine bibliotektjenester, kurs i pedagogikk og mulighet til \u00e5 veilede doktorgradsstudenter hvis de selv skulle ha en PhD grad. I tillegg f\u00e5r de p\u00e5 CVen sin at de har v\u00e6rt l\u00e6rer noe som teller positivt ved s\u00f8knader p\u00e5 faste UiB stillinger.<\/p>\n

En uformell sp\u00f8rrerunde blant klinikere p\u00e5 et par avdelinger p\u00e5 Haukeland universitetssykehus tilsa interesse for en slik ordning. Samtidig er det viktig \u00e5 p\u00e5peke at ordningen ikke m\u00e5tte bli en sovepute for faste vitenskapelig tilsatte som kunne sette vekk undervisningen sin til andre. Bruk av kliniske instrukt\u00f8rer skal v\u00e6re et tillegg til de eksisterende l\u00e6rerkreftene p\u00e5 instituttet. En slik ordning m\u00e5tte godkjennes av fakultetet. K2 ledelsen vil ta dette opp med fakultetet i samarbeid med K1.<\/p>\n

 [:en]\"bakke0x2c_per_0x2830x29\"<\/a>The new curriculum in medicine involves as many credits as the old, and as much teaching. This should imply the need for teachers is unchanged compared to the old curriculum. But in some subjects, there is an increased need for teachers during periods of group work session. A way to meet this increased demand is using clinicians at the hospitals. The clinicians could be engaged as clinical instructors at the institute. As compensation they could get access to the UiB’s library services, courses in pedagogy and ability to supervise doctoral students if they themselves should have a PhD degree. In addition, they could strengthen their CV which would be of relevance should they apply UiB positions.<\/p>\n

An informal questionnaire session among clinicians at some departments at Haukeland University hospital indicated an interest in such an arrangement. It is important to point out that using clinical instructors is not a pretext for permanent academic staff who could put away its teaching to others. Use of clinical instructors should be an addition to the existing teaching force at the department. Such a scheme had to be approved by the faculty. K2 management will bring the idea of clinical instructors forward to the faculty in collaboration with K.<\/p>\n
