COST Actions<\/strong>.<\/p>\nOur man in Brussels Kristof Vlaeminck (kristof.vlaeminck@uib.no) can assist with questions of all kinds. We will prepare a «tax returns» that can be sent Kristof about what you\u00a0wish and what skills you possess so that he can\u00a0sugest\u00a0people from\u00a0Norway for the\u00a0relevant committees. Likewise, we, together with the research advisors at department of clinical sience\u00a0work actively to make the application process easier for K2 researchers. Kristof is\u00a0visiting UiB once per month and you can schedule meetings with him while he is in Bergen.<\/p>\n
UiB’s office is\u00a0strategically located in the middle of\u00a0Brussels with similar office for SINTEF and NTNU in the same building and with writing space for visiting UiB researchers. UiB researchers can use conference room in the building for network meetings. NFR’s office in\u00a0Brussel is 5 minutes away.<\/p>\n
The management aims to significantly increase EU funding over the next two years. Writing EU applications is funnier than you think.<\/p>\n

Ikke bare kan EU-penger finansiere forskning \u2013 EU-prosjekter er alltid knyttet til internasjonalt samarbeid, noe som bygger opp viktig kompetanse og kvalitet p\u00e5 prosjektene v\u00e5re.\u00a0 I tillegg til \u00e5 s\u00f8ke, kan man melde seg som evaluator av EU-s\u00f8knader. Noen av v\u00e5re professorer har gjort eller gj\u00f8r det, men flere kan melde seg. S\u00f8knadsvurdering gir verdifull innsikt i hvordan EU arbeider og vil utvilsomt hjelpe den enkelte til \u00e5 forbedre s\u00f8knadene sine. \u00a0Dette kan ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re et springbrett til \u00e5 bli med i de komiteene som legger premissene for fremtidige forskningsprogram slik at v\u00e5re folk kan s\u00f8ke.<\/p>\n
